By accessing, using and consuming the Styled in May website, you are accepting and consenting to these terms and conditions.

Styled Event Program

  1. Eligibility
    The Styled Events Program is open to individuals hosting weddings or special occasions. The program is designed to offer a unique discount code for their guests, which can be used to hire dresses from Styled In May.

  2. Application Process
    To participate, the event host must complete the application form available on the Styled In May website. The form must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event date to allow time for processing.

  3. Discount Code
    Upon approval, the event host will receive a unique discount code that can be shared with their guests. The discount code will provide 10% off dress hire from the Styled In May collection.

  4. Validity of Discount Code
    The discount code will be valid until the date of event. It is applicable only for online bookings via the Styled In May website.

  5. Usage Restrictions

    • The discount code cannot be combined with other promotions, offers, or discounts.

    • The discount is applicable only to dress hire and does not cover shipping fees, late fees, or damage costs.

  6. Non-Transferability
    The discount code is non-transferable and can only be used by the guests of the specific event registered in the program. Sharing the code beyond the guest list is prohibited.

  7. Changes and Cancellations
    Styled In May reserves the right to modify or cancel the program or any discount codes at any time without prior notice. Any abuse of the program or violation of the terms may result in the cancellation of the discount code.

  8. Liability
    Styled In May is not responsible for any issues related to the use of the discount code, including technical difficulties or misuse. Styled In May reserves the right to refuse service if any terms are violated.

  9. Privacy
    By applying for the Styled Events Program, the event host agrees to share personal information that will be used to facilitate the program. This information will be handled in accordance with Styled In May's Privacy Policy.

Damages

You will be required to pay for any damages caused to the garment (including but not limited to, stains, tears). If the item is damaged beyond repair, you will be charged the recommended retail price of the garment/s. The decisions about damages are decided by our customer care team and seamstress. All items are taken to a seamstress for professional opinion. The price of the hire will not be subtracted from the RRP upon payment.

Refunds

Due to the nature of our business, unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds. Once you place your order, the order cannot be refunded. If you hire a dress, the garment is unavailable to be booked by other customers and therefore, refunds will not be issued for reasons such as a cancelled event or a change of heart, we are so sorry about this.

Please be mindful of pre-existing orders when ordering interstate, as these are generally a week turn around. At a team members discretion, your order may be subject to cancellation if it affects an order made prior to yours. If this is the case, a refund or store credit will be administered. All postage orders have to be approved before processing, we will be in contact if we cannot get you the dress in time.

Shipping

We use express shipping and ship Australia wide. Your delivery can arrive between 7:00am and 6:00pm on the requested day of delivery or earlier. It is your responsibility to be available for delivery of your item/s or collection of your item at the post office. Your hire period starts from the time the courier first attempts delivery and store credits will not be issued for late delivery where you have not been available to accept delivery. Styled in May takes no responsibility or liability for lost or stolen goods. If you have supplied an incorrect address you will not be entitled to a refund and you may be liable to pay any late fees or a replacement fee if the dress is not returned to us.

Sizing Issues

All items are true to size unless specified otherwise (Note: Try on's are available in Nedlands, Perth via the form here). If you would like to know more about the size and fit of a garment please email contact@styledinmay.com.au. Please note that due to the nature of our business, we do not issue refunds. 

Returns - Shipping

With the delivery of your garment, pre-paid return packaging is provided. Please ensure that you place your garment inside the pre-addressed envelope and return to Australia Post by 2pm on the last day of your hire. If you lose your return packaging, it is your responsibility to return the garment via trackable express post to Styled in May. If your return date falls on a Sunday or a public holiday, please return your garment the following business day. Please note that late fees will be incurred if a garment is sent back late as it affects the next customer. If your late return impacts another customers hire, you will be charged for the full value of their hire fee.

Returns - Perth Pick Up

If you have chosen "Perth Pick Up" then you are required to drop off the garment at the end of your hire period to our dry cleaning partner. Cloud 9 dry cleaners in Claremont, 2/1 Leura Ave, Claremont WA 6010.

If you are dropping off DURING BUSINESS HOURS please let them know you are dropping off for Styled in May. If you are dropping off AFTER hours simply put in the phone number 0433 084 444 to their 24 hour drop off and place your garment in the provided bags.

Cleaning

Professional cleaning is included in your hire fee. You are to make no attempts of cleaning, altering or ironing the garment yourself. If you damage the garment please email contact@styledinmay.com.au. You are to make no attempts to alter the garment. Excessive marks and stains will incur a $40 additional dry-cleaning fee upon drop off in store. Any minor damages to the garment can result in an additional $20 - $60 dry cleaning fee.

Late Fee Policy

Hire periods are strictly four (4) days. You agree to return your product on the order return date (or the next business day if your return date falls on a Sunday or public holiday) by 4pm using the prepaid return envelope provided, or dropping your garment to our dry cleaning partner in Perth. If you return your item(s) late you will incur a ten dollar ($10.00) late fee for every day you are late.

Cancellation Policy

Unfortunately we do not provide refunds for cancellations as the garments has therefore been unavailable for other customers to book. However, after a booking has been made and paid for, swaps can be made at a $10 service fee.

These swaps are limited to:
Swapping to a new dress. This will incur a $10 service fee plus any additional cost if the new dress is more expensive than the original. You can only swap to a new dress that is available for your date. No compensation will be provided if the new dress is cheaper than the original.

Swapping the date of your hire. This will also incur a $10 service fee and is only achievable if your dress is available for your new date. If your dress is unavailable for the new chosen date, no compensation will be given as this is a result of change of mind.

Collaborations and content

If you post photos in our pieces please assure they are not used by other pages other than Styled In May. If your photos are found on other pages they will be asked to be removed for copyright purposes. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you agree to accept that photos of our items are for our use as well as your own only. Any damages and excess dry cleaning will be charged. This is not covered in the collaboration. All terms and conditions apply for collaborations.
